The Trust operates Tribal Welfare projects in the states of Karnataka to uplift the tribal community and their people. The tribal welfare program is an extensive drive covering the areas of education, health and income generation programs for lower communities. We aim to provide vocational training for these communities to make them self dependent by providing sustainable employment opportunities. Our members arrange health awareness programs in every area of Nagaland to be aware of health risks and show audio-visual presentations to educate the tribals. There is also a care program for elderly people and orphans to provide free food, utensils, medicare, and clothing.
Health Awareness Program:
In the northern area of Karnataka, health problems have become an alarming issue; we organize health camps for a free check-up. When we surveyed the area and found that people are not aware of the free facilities from the government. So we took an initiative to set up health camps every month with the help of renowned doctors to teach women about their health, safety and security.
Educational Development
Being a Trust, RIF NGO is dedicated to provide educational facilities to everyone. Education is an important matter which helps us to grow and gain knowledge; we provide educational training. From the beginning of our journey, we have focused on the Child education program. We distributed textbooks among the students free of cost and have a plan to extend this work.
Women Empowerment:
Women empowerment is the major goal of us in rural areas and tries to educate women to make a change. RIF ngo must play a positive and creative role to empower women and provide them with opportunities to build the lives of human dignity and self-reliance. We work with poor and marginalized women by helping to realize their full potential and partnering with them as full and equal participants on all levels is integral to successful economic and social development. It is an effort to make women self-sufficient, help them pursue their dreams which they may have shelved due to various responsibilities.
